Marketing & Media Assistant
This opportunity will suit someone who is passionate to train, develop knowledge, learn new skills and build a career within marketing and media.
There will be a bias towards the social media strategy and digital marketing campaigns and you will work closely with a communications agency partner.
In addition to effective administration this role will require someone who is imaginative and creative.
You will be joining a successful and expanding insurance group with several offices throughout the UK and over 200 staff members.
-To assist the Group Marketing & Media Manager on all marketing and media matters.
-To promote and support the Group both internally and externally to clients, potential clients, the insurance market, media and other third parties.
-To log all press and news announcements for trade magazines, insurance markets and assist in the production of content writing for our website, editorials and adverts with our marketing partners.
-To work with insurers and other business partners to ensure greater communication and partnerships.
-To assist teams with marketing and media support in a structured and pre-agreed way including social media
-Monitor and keep a spreadsheet of all marketing/materials/ campaigns and events for the Group.
-To regularly get feedback from the teams in order to monitor the success of projects and ad-hoc marketing support.
-Ensure all Group branding is accurate, effective and applied to all appropriate stationery and documentation, including any system generated policy wordings or brochures.
-To assist with all Group marketing events including charity functions, corporate hospitality and staff presentations and parties.
-Assist in keeping the group website content up to date with regular news items and Company developments.
-Copywriting – press releases , announcements etc
-Creating and publishing promotional videos and other content
Although this role is to assist the Group M&M Manager there will be ample opportunities to assume sole responsibility for projects, so confidence, resourcefulness and self-reliance are important qualities.
A full programme of training will be provided.
Our client will consider applications from 2019 graduates who have recently completed a marketing or media related degree and are seeking their first full time role within the sector. Additionally, our client is open to applications from those with some experience working within a marketing/media position.
Location: City of London
Salary: to £26,000 d.o.e. + benefits
